At CrossFit Strathroy we are building a group of like minded people who believe in the pursuit of improvement. We do not concern ourselves with the latest gimmick in the fitness industry. We believe that back to basics CrossFit methodology is the best way for everyone to achieve fitness that serves your lifestyle and your goals. The appeal of “old school” CrossFit was attentive coaching and community engagement and we want to see a return to that. 


We believe that CrossFit is for everyone, of all ages and levels of ability.  “The needs of the elderly and professional athletes vary by degree, not kind.” We use scaling and progressions inside a small group class setting to tailor movements and achieve the best results for each individual. Your effort, not your ability, is rewarded.  If you show up each day and give YOUR best effort, you will undoubtedly achieve longevity and a higher quality of life. 


Through functional, foundational movements we aim to achieve General Physical Preparedness (GPP), that is, a level of fitness that will serve you through whatever life throws your way including participating in your current hobbies and interests, to remaining healthy and fit well into old age.
